This role will be instrumental in designing, implementing and evolving end-to-end financial monitoring systems, with a strong emphasis on automation through Power BI and stakeholder engagement**What You’ll Be Doing*** Fund Management & Oversight* Full accountability for the financial management of a £10m Supplier Support Fund.* Ensure timely and effective allocation and utilisation of funds in line with strategic objectives.* Propose fund allocations in collaboration with the Head of Commercial Finance. Financial Planning & Analysis* Lead budgeting and forecasting activities for the fund.* Conduct detailed financial analysis and reporting on fund status and performance. Compile and interpret ROI data from event organisers, marketing teams, and portals. Process Design & Automation* Design and implement end-to-end processes to capture and report the approval, spend and collection of support funds.* Set up initial financial monitoring processes with a roadmap for Power BI automation.* Continuously evolve reporting processes by proposing and implementing Power BI-driven solutions. Stakeholder Engagement* Present fund status updates and financial insights to senior stakeholders across the business.* Translate business reporting requirements into technical specifications for Power BI teams.**What We’re Looking For*** Proven experience in financial management, ideally within a fund or project-based environment.* Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.* Demonstrable experience in new process design, implementation and continuous improvement.* Commercially astute with a proactive approach to fund utilisation and ROI tracking. Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data modelling).* Experience working with Power BI or similar BI tools, including translating business needs into reporting solutions.* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.* Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
