Overview

Senior Analyst - Systems Risk & Controls role at Flutter Entertainment seeks to strengthen the governance framework for IT controls across the Finance Technology stack. This role is part of the Global Finance Technology, BI & Innovation function within Flutter Functions, working with colleagues across divisions to deliver the Flutter Edge.

Location: London or Dublin. Hybrid arrangement: 2 days per week on site in Dublin. This is a permanent role.

What You’ll Do

The Systems Risk & Controls team is part of the Global Finance Technology, BI & Innovation Department and works with Finance Technology teams, Internal Controls Assurance and Internal Controls Transformation to support adherence to the Flutter governance framework and SOX controls. As part of the Global Finance transformation programme the team works across IT controls implementation, assurance, remediation and transformation. The team’s overall role is to facilitate a strong controls environment across the Finance Tech stack, achieved through four workstreams to support ongoing controls adherence to SOX standards, along with other standards such as ISO27001. Specifically:

• Support Finance Tech teams through audit and enable a controls assurance function
• Collaborate with Control Owners to prepare for audit activities including walkthroughs
• Ensure efficient audit processes for the Finance Technology stack, meeting SLAs and escalating as needed
• Own end to end preparation and coordination of ITGC and ITAC audit walkthroughs with accurate and timely documentation
• Assist in responding to audit queries on behalf of control owners to reduce audit burden and mitigate findings
• Identify efficiencies and standardisation opportunities by applying IT risk and control design knowledge
• Collaborate with team members on audit documentation and continuous improvement

What You’ll Need

• 2+ years of systems audit experience in enterprise environments, specifically on ITGCs
• Internal Controls or IT audit experience with knowledge of IT Audit SOX controls
• Understanding of IT General Controls ITGCs including design, implementation, monitoring and reporting assurance issues
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills to support control owners and engage with auditors
• Ability to build positive working relationships within the business
• Understanding of IT Automated Controls ITACs is a nice to have
• Experience preparing and leading ITGC and ITAC audit walkthroughs is highly desirable
• Previous audit experience in a similar industry is advantageous
• Ability to translate IT risk issues into business language for non technical stakeholders
• Knowledge of Oracle products controls (Oracle EBS, EPM, ODI and Fusion) is a nice to have
• Organisational ability to prioritise and manage multiple moving pieces
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint
