Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Business Analyst to join our team. You will play a key role in identifying business needs, analysing processes, report creation, and delivering data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making and operational improvements. This post is Temporary until 31st March 2028.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
  • Analyse current business processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications for technical teams.
  • Mentor analysts and contribute to the development of best practices and standards.
  • Support project delivery through testing, documentation, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and outcomes.
  • Evaluate business performance and recommend improvements using data-driven approaches.
  • Support change management and benefits realisation activities.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
  • Strong understanding of business process modelling and improvement techniques.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Python, Business Objects, Power BI, SQL).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience in the Social Care sector.
