What you’ll be doing The position of Android Developer sits within the Digital function of our Retail business, reporting into the Digital Engineering Manager. You will work in a small product squad with iOS developers, backend developers, QA testers, product owners, business analysts and UX designers. With daily downloads in excess of 1 million, you’ll help shape a huge impact on our customer’s digital experience. The YourEnergy app is 100% Kotlin‑based, built using MVVM architecture with Android libraries such as ObjectBox, NavGraph, LiveData and Jetpack Compose. What We’re Looking For
Knowledge of Android Studio Kotlin or Java knowledge Comfortable connecting to RESTful APIs (Retrofit) Familiarity with versioning tools (e.g., Git or SVN) Experience with Google Play/app release process Knowledge of Agile/Scrum processes Familiarity with Coroutines Experience in Compose Experience with Gradle Experience with debugging tools Experience/familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery, test‑driven development and UI testing would be an advantage
