Entain's Group Corporate Development and M&A team is seeking a Senior Associate to help drive strategic growth initiatives, assess investment opportunities, and execute high-impact projects globally. This dynamic role works across multiple areas of the business, including M&A, strategic partnerships, financial planning, and market analysis, collaborating with teams such as Commercial, Product & Technology, Finance and senior leadership.
We're looking for talented professionals with experience from similar in-house roles, investment banking, private equity, or other professional services firms who thrive in fast-paced, commercial environments.
Job Description
This is an exciting role within a highly active team, with broad responsibilities that include:
- Collaborate with senior leaders to identify and evaluate growth opportunities, including mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and global investments;
- Take a lead on conducting due diligence, financial modeling, and valuation analysis to support acquisitions, investments, and divestitures, presenting recommendations to executive leadership;
- Monitor industry trends, emerging competitors, and market dynamics to uncover opportunities and assess potential risks;
- Provide in-depth analysis of consumer, technology, and market shifts to inform and refine Entain's global corporate strategy;
- Evaluate Entain's performance relative to industry peers, using data-driven insights to support strategic recommendations;
- Partner with cross-functional teams across the business to ensure the seamless execution of high-priority initiatives;
- Contribute fresh ideas, industry knowledge, and innovative approaches to strengthen Entain's position as a market leader;
Qualifications
- Substantial experience in investment banking, private equity, or corporate development, with exposure to M&A and strategic growth initiatives;
- Strong academic record;
- Advanced financial modeling skills, including valuation of complex transactions;
- Proficiency in presenting findings to executive stakeholders and crafting high-quality business cases;
- Strong commercial acumen and interest in the betting, gaming, technology, and entertainment industries;
- Familiarity with corporate finance principles and business frameworks to guide strategic decisions;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage ambiguity, and meet tight deadlines;
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for tackling complex business challenges;
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and influence key stakeholders;
- A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively across teams and foster a culture of partnership;
- A proactive, self-starter attitude with a commitment to delivering results;
