Seeking a motivated and detail-orientated Sustainability – Supply Chain Senior Associate to play a critical role embedding sustainability ambitions across LSEG’s supply chain. This individual will support the company in achieving its net zero targets, implementing our climate transition plan, and ensuring compliance with CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) and other ESG relevant regulations.

Working within Group Procurement but strong collaboration across a variety of internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver measurable progress against our environmental and social sustainability goals.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Drive initiatives to reduce Scope 3 emissions, including supplier engagement, data collection and emissions reduction projects.
  • Monitor, track and report progress towards net zero targets.
  • Partner with suppliers to improve transparency, ESG data quality and responsible sourcing practices.
  • Assess and evaluate supplier performance against sustainability criteria, including carbon impact and ethical standards.
  • Ensure supply chain data and processes align with CSRD, SBTi (Science-based targets initiative) and other regulatory/reporting frameworks.
  • Contribute to the preparation of sustainability disclosures and reports, with a focus on supply chain impact.
  • Maintain and improve systems for data collection, validation and audit readiness.
  • Support internal training and awareness on supply chain sustainability topics.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

Essential Skills

  • 3-5 years’ experience in supply chain, procurement, ESG or sustainability roles.
  • Strong understanding of net zero strategies, Scope 3 emissions, and sustainability reporting requirements.
  • Project management experience.
  • Proven ability to analyse data, build insights and present findings clearly.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and supplier engagement skills.
  • Track record of managing multiple workstreams with conflicting priorities and deadlines.
  • Proactive, collaborative, and comfortable working across multiple teams.
  • Ability to balance detail orientation with strategic perspective.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Desirable Skills

  • Knowledge of EU and global ESG regulations including CSRD, CSDDD, and modern slavery legislation.
  • Project management qualifications.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, Power BI, or other analytics platforms.
