Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: £27,500 – £37,500 (depending on experience and qualifications)

A modern, tech-savvy accountancy firm in Farnham is looking for a Senior Audit Assistant to join its growing team. This is a great opportunity to develop your audit skills within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

The Role

• Work as part of a small audit team (2–4 people)
• Carry out audit fieldwork for a wide range of clients
• Take responsibility for sections of the audit file
• Get involved in audit planning and completion
• Manage smaller audits as you gain experience
• Support new audit client setups
• Contribute to project work during quieter periods
  
  

• Flexible working around core hours (10am–4pm)
• Hybrid working after probation (1–2 days from home when not on-site)

• At least 2 years of audit experience in an accountancy practice
• Part-qualified ACA or ACCA
• Keen to complete your qualification (Level 7 apprenticeship possible)
• Strong Excel and IT skills (Xero experience a bonus)
• Excellent communication and organisation skills
• High attention to detail
• Able to commute to Farnham (within 30–45 minutes)
• Must have the right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
