Exciting opportunities to join a fast-growing Internal Audit function at the prestigious London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG). LSEG is a diverse and global organisation with ongoing expansion and integration work, including Refinitiv. Internal Audit provides assurance and insights across areas such as Capital Markets, Post Trade, Technology, Data and Analytics and the Group's central functions.

In line with the Group's expansion, Internal Audit is growing, with experienced professionals joining the function to build an Internal Audit capability fit for LSEG\'s new era.

Role Overview

Leads the audit delivery and contributes to the successful execution of a portfolio of audits by ensuring high-quality work, with engagement reports that provide assurance and help improve LSEG\'s risk and control environment.

Lead audits in line with the audit methodology. Monitor the audit team\'s progress and act as the main point of contact to ensure progress stays on track. Help the team resolve issues and escalate blockers to the AD or HoA in a timely manner. Lead audit team meetings/scrums.

Deliver allocated audits to time and budget, manage audit risk by adhering to methodology requirements, and complete supervisory reviews of audit files to meet quality standards. Proactively draft issues and report content to gather feedback and ensure a high-impact final product. Anticipate hurdles and plan ahead to implement solutions and propose the way forward. Manage audit partners confidently and run partner meetings, keeping partners updated to maintain a "no surprise" approach.

Role Responsibilities

  • Develop an understanding of the key risks and risk drivers for the Divisions; ensure the Audit Universe reflects business operations and that risk assessments are up to date.
  • Lead a portfolio of audits, setting standards and driving on-time delivery at each stage of the engagement lifecycle.
  • Deliver core components of audit engagements in line with Internal Audit Methodology.
  • Produce impactful audit reports that influence partners to improve the control environment.
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships across the business and across the audit function to collate and assess information and update risk assessments.
  • Coach and motivate team members on applying the Audit methodology and actively lead performance of the team.
  • Leverage standard methodology across the Audit function.
  • Contribute to critical initiatives within Internal Audit and support delivery of training.

Minimum Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent, and relevant professional qualification
  • Recognised Internal Auditing (IIA / CIIA) or Accounting Qualification. May be Part Qualified
  • Broad proven experience in assurance delivery and supervision
  • Subject-matter expert technical knowledge
  • Extensive partner management experience
  • Experience in a fast-paced international organisation would be advantageous
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Continuous improvement attitude
