Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Audit & Risk Manager to join our team based from our Head Office in London Bridge (hybrid working - 3 days onsite).

What You'll Do

You will provide inspirational leadership to your audit function (2 Direct Reports) and develop & oversee the internal audit programme. Supporting the Head of Internal Audit at our owning group DFTO, you report to the SET Audit & Risk Committee & the executive on a regular basis, providing independent, objective assurance on the effectiveness of the internal financial controls, along with oversight on corporate risk reporting.

Responsibilities

• Inspire and lead your audit team.
• Lead the internal audit programme and risk assurance activities.
• Provide objective assurance on financial controls and corporate risk reporting.
• Report to the Audit & Risk Committee and executive teams.
• Engage with stakeholders to manage audit planning and execution.
• Ensure alignment with regulatory and industry standards.

Qualifications

• CA/ACCA/ACMA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Relevant audit and risk experience with strong stakeholder management.
• Commercial awareness and understanding of the business impact.
• Experience in the railway sector is desirable.
