Senior Auditor

This role is available on a part-time, job-share or full-time basis. Competitive salary, depending on experience, plus an excellent benefits package. Location: UK (London, Fareham or Swindon) – Hybrid. Closing date for applications: Friday 17th October 2025.

As a Senior Auditor, you will work with members of the audit team across all aspects of an audit, collaborating with audit team members across Group Audit to develop a deep understanding of the business and its risks. You will co-develop high-quality audit approaches, assess IT fundamentals, and leverage GenAI.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering high-quality audits, leveraging Data Analytics and GenAI, and assessing IT fundamentals throughout the audit process.
  • Contributing to drafting impactful issue summaries.
  • Building and maintaining constructive relationships with stakeholders during audits.
  • Fostering a learning culture by taking an active role in your development and applying a growth and learning mindset.
  • Embracing new world skills, such as Data, IT, and GenAI, to deliver optimal audit outcomes.
  • Collaborating with all levels to achieve the best possible outcomes on audit.
  • Upholding and modeling the highest standards of ethics and integrity.

Requirements:

  • Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree, or other relevant qualification (e.g., chartered accountant, CPA, CIA, CISA, or equivalent).
  • Established expertise in Internal Audit, Risk Management, or Compliance, with a track record of delivering impactful outcomes.
  • Experience within complex, fast-moving, and international organizations.
  • Good understanding of audit methodology, Internal Audit Standards, and internal control frameworks.
  • Good understanding of the Financial Services Industry, preferably with experience in Life and/or P&C insurance processes and products.
  • Experience with new world skills (DA, ITGC, and GenAI).
  • Good project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and consistently deliver high-quality outcomes on time.
  • Ability to work without close supervision and take decisions autonomously, subject to verification.
  • Passion and enthusiasm to continue growing and developing.
  • Fluent verbal and written English language skills.
