By combining deep sector expertise with modern infrastructure, we unlock liquidity across private equity, private credit, and real assets, transforming the industry and enabling investors to move faster and smarter.We are looking for a Senior Automation Testing Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and execution of automated testing frameworks across our platforms. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in building reliable, scalable test automation systems, with a focus on ensuring product quality, performance, and security in a fast-paced startup environment.This role is open globally to full-time contractors who can work standard Central European Time (CET) hours.TasksDesign, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks for web applications and APIs.Define and execute test strategies, plans, and scripts to validate functionality, scalability, and performance.Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure continuous quality validation.Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers to identify risks and ensure test coverage.Champion quality standards, best practices, and metrics for monitoring test effectiveness.Perform root cause analysis of defects and contribute to preventive measures.Mentor and support junior QA engineers, fostering knowledge sharing and team development.Contribute to system-wide improvements by proactively identifying gaps in automation, tooling, or processes.Requirements3+ years of professional experience in test automation engineering.Strong expertise with automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.Proficiency in at least one programming language used for automation (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or Java).Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience integrating test automation into build processes.Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured) and database validation (SQL).Familiarity with performance and load testing tools is a plus (e.g., JMeter, k6).Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.Experience using AI-assisted development/testing tools (e.g., Cursor AI) to enhance test coverage and efficiency.Thrives in a fast-moving startup environment - flexible, proactive, and self-directed.If you meet the requirements above you’re excited to shape the future of private markets and work alongside a brilliant team of engineers, ex-bankers, and startup superstars, we’d love to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
