Salary: $130k - $200k + Benefits. Plexus is partnering with a fast-scaling Web3 company building next-generation infrastructure for decentralized applications and AI-driven economies.

Role Overview

As a Senior Backend Engineer, youll take ownership of end-to-end development of backend services and application modules, from architecture through to production launch. Youll work closely with product and cross-functional teams to shape features, make architectural decisions, and deliver high-quality backend solutions that scale with growing user demand. This is a hands-on engineering role with strong product input and is perfect for someone who thrives in small teams and enjoys significant ownership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead backend feature development from design through deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with product teams to shape roadmap and influence implementation.
• Conduct technical research and evaluate architectural approaches for performance, scalability, and security.
• Deliver complex features and services to production, ensuring robustness, low latency, and reliability.

Key Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as a backend/server engineer, with strong hands-on Go (Golang) skills in production.
• Experience with Rust (ideally in blockchain contexts such as Solana) is highly desirable but not essential.
• Strong product mindset, able to think beyond code and contribute to shaping user experience and product direction.
• Proven track record of delivering complex, high-performance systems end-to-end.
• Experience working across cross-functional, distributed teams in fast-paced environments.
