Job Description:
Senior Building Services Manager, London - UK South Construction Division
We are recruiting for a Senior Building Services Manager to join our UK South Construction Business Unit on residential/commercial projects. The Senior Building Services Manager is responsible for delivering Building Services Systems across large and/or multiple smaller projects, ensuring they are on time, on budget, and meet safety, quality, and energy objectives. The role also involves guiding, leading, and motivating teams to apply our MEP Management systems, achieving fully integrated and commissioned MEP systems that meet design specifications and statutory requirements, leading to seamless handover and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
- Promote the application of Building Services Department Management Systems and Procedures, providing technical support, guidance, and direction for project delivery.
- Support the Building Services “Value Proposition” aligning it with Business Units and Company Vision, Values, and Objectives.
- Assist in delivering the Building Services Strategy Plan to support Business Unit objectives.
- Ensure all aspects of the MEP technical and commercial parts of project bids are executed according to company procedures.
- Guide the tendering and awarding of MEP packages in line with contract strategies and objectives.
- Ensure MEP teams determine temporary electrical requirements, including load and energy assessments, following management system guidelines.
Qualifications
- Mechanical or Electrical academic or MEP technical qualification.
- Membership of a relevant professional institution such as CIBSE, CIOB, IEI, or equivalent.
- IOSH or equivalent health and safety management training.
- Higher Diploma or Degree in a technical or construction-related subject.
- Good understanding of the MEP supply chain market and dynamics.
