Building Surveyor Role at AtkinsRéalis

We are seeking a talented Building Surveyor to join our multidisciplinary team, delivering a comprehensive range of Building Surveying duties. The role can be based in London (Nova North) or Epsom, with flexible working options including remote work.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage multiple projects across various sectors, including education, healthcare, local authorities, and infrastructure.
2. Develop new business opportunities and maintain client relationships.
3. Apply standard building contracts such as JCT and NEC.
4. Conduct building surveys, defect analysis, and produce professional reports and specifications.
5. Manage projects under frameworks, ensuring compliance with quality, health, safety, and environmental standards.
6. Support project management and contract administration for larger projects.
7. Lead small to medium construction projects and provide professional services like Party Walls and statutory applications.
8. Mentor junior staff and APC graduates, promoting team development.

Candidate Requirements:

1. BSc (Hons) Building Surveying, RICS accredited.
2. Full member of RICS.
3. Proven experience in pre and post-contract project management.
4. Strong IT skills, including Word, Excel, AutoCAD, NBS, and Revit (advantageous).
5. Understanding of BIM Level 2.
6. Willingness to travel and flexible to work varied hours.
7. Excellent client management and communication skills.
