Senior Building Surveyor

Locations: Cambridge, Gerrards Cross, Lincoln, or Nottingham

Join our Kier Design business to provide design and professional services across various sectors, including the built environment, for public and private sector clients.

Location: Cambridge, Gerrards Cross, Lincoln, or Nottingham

Hours: 37.5 hours per week with some flexibility available

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per year + benefits

Responsibilities

• Conduct surveys of existing buildings and sites, develop feasibility studies, and design solutions such as maintenance, repair, refurbishment, or demolition.
• Support clients in procuring contractors for maintenance, repair, refurbishment, or demolition works.
• Manage projects, including contract administration and quality assurance.
• Mentor and supervise junior Building Surveyors and support business development efforts.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline, preferably accredited by RICS or CIOB.
• Chartered status with RICS or CIOB.
• Extensive experience in building surveying across various sectors, with knowledge of procurement and contract administration, especially JCT and NEC.
