Meraki Talent’s successful global consultancy client is actively seeking a Senior Business Architect (Insurance) to lead and deliver several business-critical projects. You will be part of a market-leading team, tackling large-scale and strategic assignments such as transformation, organizational design, or restructuring. Our client is a leader in the industry.

We are looking for at least one, possibly two, Senior Business Architects with expertise in the insurance industry. Candidates should have a broad understanding of the operational functions of a successful insurance organization and demonstrate leadership qualities. Essential skills include technical proficiency, client relationship management, and strategic vision.

Responsibilities of the Senior Business Architect (Insurance):

• Partner with stakeholders to define business architecture, including capability maps, process models, data flows, and landscapes, specifically related to insurance operations.
• Analyze existing processes and systems across underwriting, policies, claims, etc., to identify areas for improvement aligned with strategic goals.
• Design future-state architectures leveraging emerging technologies such as Machine Learning and AI.
• Develop roadmaps and plans to guide the implementation of the target business architecture.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects to ensure seamless integration of business architecture.

Background of the Senior Business Architect (Insurance):

• Extensive experience in the insurance industry or within a consultancy specializing in insurance (including London Markets, General and Commercial Insurance, InsurTech, etc.).
• Experience as a Business Architect or senior operational/functional expert within the insurance sector.
• Strong understanding of operating models, operational design, and core business functions (processes, flows, systems, regulations).
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Understanding of technology is advantageous.
