Senior Business Development Manager - Circular Economy Consultancy

Location: Birmingham hybrid

We’re recruiting for a specialist circular economy consultancy delivering industrial symbiosis and resource efficiency solutions. Their work spans construction, manufacturing, water, infrastructure and beyond, helping organisations reduce waste, optimise supply chains, and embed sustainability into core operations.

They’re looking for a commercially driven Senior Business Development Manager to support growth across both new and existing accounts. This is a standalone role with a strong strategic focus.

The firm receives 3–5 qualified inbound enquiries each month, often progressing to formal tenders. You’ll lead bid development, shape proposals, and manage stakeholder relationships from enquiry through to contract. Alongside this, you’ll re-engage a wide portfolio of existing and lapsed clients to identify new project opportunities and strengthen long-term partnerships.

• Experience selling consultancy, sustainability, or supply chain services
• Sector exposure to construction, manufacturing, water, or infrastructure
• Skilled in tender preparation, bid writing, and proposal development
• Comfortable managing multiple complex opportunities
• Able to build credibility with commercial, operational, and sustainability leaders
