Senior Buyer (Strategic Sourcing) - Contract

A leading global manufacturer is seeking experienced Senior Buyers to join their Strategic Sourcing Team on a temporary contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a high-performing procurement function, supporting sourcing strategies across a range of commodities in a complex, fast-paced environment.

• 36-hour working week with half-day Fridays

You will be responsible for:

• Negotiating and managing supplier contracts
• Issuing RFPs and managing the tender process
• Identifying cost optimisation opportunities
• Supporting sourcing strategies across multiple commodities
• Managing supplier performance and applying contractual remedies
• Maintaining accurate sourcing data in ERP/MRP systems
• Supporting commercial claims and cost management

• Minimum HNC in a business-related subject or relevant professional qualification (e.g. CIPS, CPIM)
• At least 2 years' experience in a sourcing or procurement role (or 3 years with lesser qualifications)
• Strong IT skills and experience with ERP/MRP systems
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
