Overview

We’re ASOS, the online retailer for fashion lovers all around the world.

We exist to give our customers the confidence to be whoever they want to be, and that goes for our people too. At ASOS, you’re free to be your true self without judgement, and channel your creativity into a platform used by millions.

But how are we showing up? We’re proud members of Inclusive Companies, are Disability Confident Committed and have signed the Business in the Community Race at Work Charter and we placed 8th in the Inclusive Top 50 Companies Employer list.

Everyone needs some help showing up as their best self. Let our Talent team know if you need any adjustments throughout the process in whatever way works best for you.

We’re looking for a commercially sharp, trend-aware Senior Buyer to join our Partner Brands team, focusing on the Dress Up category. This is a unique opportunity to work across a diverse and exciting brand portfolio - from high-street favourites to emerging designers - and help shape the product offer for our global 20-something customer.

As a Senior Buyer, you’ll work closely with Merchandising, Design, Technical, and Marketing teams to build a range that’s bold, relevant, and always ahead of the curve. You’ll use customer and market insights to inform your decisions, drive performance, and deliver a product strategy that balances creativity with commercial impact.

We emphasise in-person collaboration, with a working rhythm that includes spending at least 3 days a week in the office. This approach helps ASOSers move faster, learn from each other, and grow together.

Responsibilities

  • Curate a desirable and relevant brand mix using global market insights, shows, and street trends to drive newness and commercial impact.
  • Develop cohesive and commercial product ranges that reflect brand strategy, avoid duplication, and meet global customer needs.
  • Deliver department KPIs in partnership with Merchandising, identifying risks and opportunities to maximise margin and profit.
  • React to trading insights by identifying gaps and potentialising opportunities, flexing the buy to optimise performance and manage risk.
  • Use global trend data, competitor insights, and sales analysis to anticipate customer needs and shape future buys.
  • Ensure ASOS’s Fashion with Integrity principles are embedded in decision-making, actively seeking opportunities to use sustainable materials.
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects and initiatives, championing change and driving cost-efficiency.
  • Lead and grow a high-performing team, providing clear direction, development opportunities, and regular feedback to drive engagement.
  • Support an inclusive culture by embedding Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategies across the team and ways of working.

Qualifications

About You

You’re highly organised, adaptable, and confident in leading others through change - always looking for ways to drive success and unlock new opportunities.

You’re a natural collaborator who builds strong relationships across teams, partners, and suppliers. Your leadership style is inclusive and inspiring, motivating those around you through clear direction, trust, and a shared sense of purpose.

You will also bring…

  • Strong awareness of current trends, retail market conditions, and competitor activity
  • In-depth knowledge of planning and trading documents, with the ability to challenge figures and plans
  • Skilled in using data, insights, and market intelligence to inform decisions and support retail strategy
