Overview
Our client, a top-ranked serious injury team, is currently looking for a Lawyer with a strong background in catastrophic injury claims who is ready to take the next step in their career to join their Southampton based team. This role has excellent routes to progression with a clear route to partnership or legal director for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Catastrophic Injury Lawyer, you will manage a complex caseload acting on behalf of both adults and children who have suffered life-changing injuries including:
- Traumatic brain injuries
- Spinal cord injuries
- Amputations
- Polytrauma
- Fatal injuries
These cases arise from serious RTA and EL/PL incidents. You will work closely with clients and their families, medical professionals, counsel, and rehabilitation experts to secure the best possible outcomes.
You will also work on fatal accident claims, including those brought on behalf of dependants and estates.
Qualifications
- A personable, committed solicitor with technical excellence and a client-centred approach.
- Experience in complex personal injury and serious injury litigation.
- Knowledge of CPR and relevant pre-action protocols.
- Ability to handle sensitive and high-value claims with empathy and precision.
- Interest in business development and working with charitable organisations.
- Someone looking for a long-term role with progression opportunities.
- Experience in cases involving mental capacity is advantageous, though not essential.
