This is a fast-paced team that is now expanding to continue to deliver a larger programme of sustainable and innovative solutions.**Job Overview**The role holder will support the Catchment Strategy Manager to deliver the water quality regulatory programme in relation to the environment and in particular development of catchment-scale, sustainable solutions to meet our water supply challenges. As a Senior you will assist the professional development of the Catchment Management Specialists.* Support the Catchment Strategy Manager to technically manage implementation and delivery and reporting to successfully fulfil our regulatory and compliance requirements. Responsible for undertaking technical evaluation/recommendations on environmental measures that will likely be needed to mitigate predicted environmental challenges.* Engagement with key stakeholders including our regulators (EA and DWI), other Water Companies, the water industry, Catchment Partnerships, internally within SWS to promote our Catchment First Programme and contribute to industry technical working groups.* Catchment Management expert providing specialist advice to the wider business in relation to Catchment Management, Water quality and Resources, Planning and Development, Environmental Policy etc. Contribute to industry forums promoting the catchment approach.* Assist the professional development of the Catchment Management Specialists.**About You*** Demonstrable experience of water quality investigations and catchment management planning and delivery.* Experience of technical report writing and review of water resource and water quality investigations, catchment risk assessments.* The ability to demonstrate the completion of quality multi-disciplinary tasks on time to a consistent & high standard.* Experience of designing water quality, hydroecology and hydrometric monitoring programmes, data analysis and assimilation.* Excellent verbal, written, presentation and problem solving skills.* You will have an environmental background with an MSc or equivalent experience in technical water quality and catchment management planning and delivery.* Experience managing delivery of technical work via sub-contracted consultancy teams and data analysis including use and development of GIS and dashboard reporting systems.**Package**This role will be full time Monday to Friday with a hybrid approach to working between our Falmer office and home.
