Are you a strategic procurement professional with deep expertise in HR and professional services sourcing?

We're looking for an Category Manager to lead procurement strategy for HR systems and services - including platforms like Workday and Oracle HCM - within a global financial services environment.

This Category Manager opportunity will pay an annual salary up to £90,000, a 22% Annual Bonus and 18% Company Pension, Private Health and Dental Care and lots more!. Working to a hybrid model, the team go on-site 2 days a week for some collaboration within their Central London hub.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive category strategies across HR technology and professional services.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders in HR, IT, Finance, and Legal to align procurement initiatives with business priorities.
• Drive end-to-end sourcing activities, including RFPs/RFIs, supplier evaluations, negotiations, and contract execution.
• Maximise ROI from key HR platforms such as Workday, Oracle HCM, and SAP SuccessFactors.
• Manage supplier risk, ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards, and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
• Track market developments and emerging trends to inform a forward-looking category roadmap.

Overview:

• Demonstrated success in IT Procurement or Category Management, ideally within the financial services sector.
• In-depth experience managing sourcing for HRIS platforms and professional/consulting services.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record in contract negotiation and vendor management.
• Skilled in managing complex, high-value supplier relationships and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Proficient in using leading procurement platforms (e.g., Ariba, Coupa).
• Strategic thinker with excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
