We are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join our Central Rail Systems Alliance team, delivering multi-million-pound Rail Core and Enhancement projects in the Eastern or Northwest & Central Regions.

Your purpose:

• Use your experience as a Railway Civil Design Engineer to support and lead designs as Checker or CRE.
• Manage the pricing and scheduling of your design scope.
• Collaborate with Construction and Assurance teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Support the development of junior team members.
• Produce high-quality deliverables, including calculations, forms, and drawings.
• Provide coordinated and constructible designs using your multidisciplinary experience.
• Assist in tendering new projects.

What you can bring:

• Experience leading multidisciplinary design and construction projects.
• Experience with ancillary civil engineering supporting track renewals.
• Multidisciplinary design experience.
• Mentorship experience with junior team members.
• IEng / CEng (or working towards) with a relevant professional body.
• Working towards CRE qualification (desirable).
• Project Engineer experience (desirable).
