We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Civil Engineer to join our client's growing UK team. This is an opportunity to join an SME design consultancy supporting projects in urban regeneration, transport, energy, waste, industrial, commercial, residential, retail, health, and leisure developments.

They have expertise in infrastructure planning and design, earthworks and 3D ground modelling, pumping stations, sewerage systems, land drainage, flooding, and sustainable drainage systems (SuDS).

You will take the lead on project delivery, manage junior engineers, liaise with clients and stakeholders, and ensure all designs and construction activities meet the highest technical and regulatory standards.

What you need to succeed

• Minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience in Civil Engineering design consultancy
• Experience in producing pre-planning reports, including Flood Risk Assessments, Foul Drainage & Utility Assessments
• Desirable drainage remedial and modelling experience
• Preparation of detailed design information for Tender and Construction
• Highways design experience – local authority and private residential/commercial (S38 / 184 / 278)
• Effective communication skills, including writing clear and concise emails, letters, and reports
• Ability to represent the company at meetings professionally
• Good commercial awareness and team collaboration skills
