Senior Civil Litigation Lawyer – Part‑time (21–28 hrs wk)

Enfield Legal Services are recruiting a Senior Civil Litigation Lawyer. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly, committed and highly regarded in‑house legal team and deliver quality legal advice, contributing to the quality of life and sustainability of the borough.

Key Responsibilities

• Specialise in general civil litigation including Landlord and Tenant, employment, licensing, commercial litigation, judicial review, injunctions, ASB, possessions, tenancy fraud.
• Carry a heavy caseload, working with minimum supervision.
• Advocate experience – representation in court and tribunal.
• Draft, negotiate and manage legal documents.
• Collaborate with other teams within the department and cross‑work where required.

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 5 years post‑qualification experience in the relevant area.
• Excellent communication, drafting, and negotiating skills.
• Strong understanding of the relevant area(s) of law.
• Local authority experience desirable but not essential.
• Litigator roles require advocacy experience.

Working‑time & Flexibility

Part‑time: 21–28 hours per week. Flexible worker classification – requires 2 days office attendance per week (up to 5 days during probation). Remote and office based working possible.
