We are looking for Senior Clean Water (Hydraulic) Modellers to join our Water Consultancy team. We aim to grow our people, benefit our environment, and enjoy what we do.

Our services range from strategy development and business planning support to solution development, testing, optimisation, and design. We have deep expertise in hydraulic and water quality modelling and are recruiting professionals with a background in Water Engineering at all levels.

About The Team:

Join our Clean Water (Hydraulic) Modelling Team working on the SR21 Technical Consultancy Framework, utilizing Scottish Water's hydraulic modelling library.

We seek hydraulic modellers at all levels to support water programmes like optioneering, design, and asset assessment. You will collaborate within a skilled team to support design, zonal studies, and water engineering solutions, with ongoing projects into SR27 and beyond.

About You:

We want ambitious engineering professionals passionate about problem-solving and with Water Industry experience, including:

• Expertise in water engineering and network analysis for complex projects.
• Ability to work collaboratively, including guiding less experienced colleagues.
• Excellent communication skills and client interaction.
• Knowledge of Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Knowledge of GIS systems (MapInfo, ArcGIS, QGIS).
• Experience with InfoWorks WS Pro, Synergi, or similar water modelling tools.
• Full clean driving licence; travel may be required.
• Degree in a relevant subject.
• Coding skills (Ruby, Python) are desirable but not essential.

Your Responsibilities:

• Deliver technical development of clean water modelling projects, including scoping, building, maintenance, and studies.
• Prepare technical and analytical reports.
• Work within multi-disciplinary teams, building strong client relationships.
• Guide and oversee junior team members.
• Ensure quality and client standards compliance.
• Follow health, safety, quality, and environmental protocols.
