Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Cloud and Data Architect with deep expertise in cloud platforms, data engineering, and solution design. This role demands strong technical leadership, hands-on experience with at least two hyperscalers (Azure, AWS, GCP), and the ability to drive architecture and delivery across enterprise data platforms. You will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing scalable, resilient, and high-performance data solutions for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design and implementation of cloud-based data architectures and solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for all solution-related discussions.
- Work directly with stakeholders, contribute to RfPs, solutioning, and client presentations.
- Deliver hands-on architecture for data lakes, warehouses, and real-time processing platforms using modern cloud services.
- Design and build ETL pipelines, perform data modeling, and define monitoring and deployment strategies.
- Implement resilient, fault-tolerant, and secure cloud architectures.
- Oversee data migrations from legacy systems and ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define best practices in DevOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Train and mentor junior architects and technical team members.
- Author white papers and point-of-view (POV) documents on emerging data technologies.
Mandatory Skills & Experience
- 16–18+ years of overall experience in DWBI, Big Data, and Cloud technologies.
- Proven hands-on experience with at least 2 hyperscaler platforms: Azure, AWS, GCP.
- Expertise in Big Data services like Apache Spark, Apache Beam, and equivalent.
- In-depth knowledge of tools and services such as:
- BigQuery, Redshift, Synapse
- Pub/Sub, Kinesis, MQ, Event Hubs
- Strong ETL, data modeling, and SQL development experience.
- Excellent communication, consulting, and documentation skills.
- Ability to define monitoring, alerting, deployment strategies, and deliver resilient architectures.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and client-facing skills.
- Experience designing Databricks-based solutions on Azure or AWS.
- Working knowledge of DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Terraform, StackDriver.
- Familiarity with NoSQL, unstructured data, predictive analytics, and data visualization tools.
Candidate Requirements
- Strong knowledge of database systems, data mining, and reporting technologies.
- Proficiency in both relational and non-relational databases.
- Experience across the systems development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Minimum of 5 years in a similar architect-level role.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
