The Opportunity

We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Cloud Engineer to join our innovative team in the Bay Area. If you are passionate about cloud technologies, particularly Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Helm, and Crossplane, and thrive in a collaborative environment, you are invited to be part of Postman’s journey. What You’ll Do

• Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP; ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of Postman’s cloud services.
• Kubernetes Orchestration: Utilize Kubernetes to orchestrate and automate deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications; collaborate with development teams to optimize configurations for diverse workloads.
• ArgoCD and Helm Expertise: Leverage ArgoCD for GitOps-based CD and use Helm for packaging, versioning, and deploying applications.
• Crossplane Integration: Implement and extend Crossplane for managing cloud resources in a multi-cloud environment; ensure seamless integration with Postman’s architecture.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implement IaC using Terraform, CloudFormation, and Helm charts; maintain version-controlled infrastructure code for repeatability and scalability.
• Monitoring and Logging: Implement and manage monitoring and logging solutions; work with DevOps to enhance observability and troubleshoot issues.
• Security and Compliance: Enforce security best practices for cloud infrastructure and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Collaboration and Documentation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and create/maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure, configurations, and procedures.

About You

• 8+ years of experience as a cloud engineer or similar
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Proven experience with Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Istio, Helm, and Crossplane
• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Familiarity with containerization and microservices architecture
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Grafana Stack)
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, collaboration, and communication skills
