Security Cleared Senior Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer - Azure

Remote • Permanent • Up to £90,000 per annum

A leading UK technology consultancy and digital solutions provider to the public sector is seeking an experienced Senior Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure to join their growing team. This role works with UK central government, delivering critical digital transformation and enterprise solutions across complex cloud, data, and ERP programmes, and contributes to modernising core government functions through secure, scalable, and future-ready technology platforms.

This role will be pivotal in designing, implementing, and delivering complex cloud migration projects for enterprise customers. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in cloud infrastructure, hands-on proficiency with Terraform, and a solid understanding of on-premises hosting environments. You will play a key part in modernising and transforming customer environments as part of large-scale digital initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and deliver complex cloud migration projects for enterprise customers.
• Contribute to modernising customer environments as part of large-scale digital initiatives.
• Apply hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure (design, build, and implementation).
• Utilise Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code to manage cloud infrastructure.
• Work with on-premises hosting environments as part of cloud transformation programs.

Qualifications

• Active SC clearance
• 5+ years of experience in Cloud and Infrastructure Engineering
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Azure (design, build, and implementation)
• Proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code
• Proven experience in cloud migration or transformation projects
• UK right to work; visa sponsorship is not available
