Senior Cloud Technical Architect – Sopra Steria
We’re looking for a Cloud Technical Architect to join our dynamic and collaborative team, where you’ll design and implement innovative multi‑cloud (AWS and Azure) IaaS and PaaS solutions for a wide range of clients. In this role you’ll ensure quality delivery, influence strategy, and help shape the future of cloud adoption across both platforms.

What you’ll be doing:
Designing and delivering AWS and Azure solutions aligned to client strategies.
Facilitating workshops and presenting technical solutions to a range of audiences.
Acting as Technical Design Authority and ensuring governance across projects.
Collaborating on pre‑sales activities and proposal creation.
Contributing to IP development and go‑to‑market initiatives.
Mentoring and supporting team members while promoting knowledge sharing.
What you’ll bring:
Strong expertise in AWS and Azure deployments, including hybrid and cloud‑native designs.
Proven ability to architect and implement multi‑cloud solutions using IaaS and PaaS services.
In‑depth knowledge of Microsoft technologies, AWS Core services and cloud infrastructure.
Hands‑on knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or PowerShell).
Excellent communication and client engagement skills, with experience running technical workshops.
A collaborative, client‑focused attitude and passion for driving technical excellence.
It would be great if you had:
AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional (with DevOps or SysOps certification desirable).
Familiarity with containerisation and serverless technologies (e.g. ECS, EKS, Fargate, API Gateway).
Experience with Windows and Linux environments and governance or backup services in AWS.

Salary: dependent on experience
