Overview
Senior Cloud/DevOps Engineer (AWS/Azure) – Tech Team. Seeking an experienced DevOps engineer to design and maintain infrastructure, build automation frameworks, establish robust CI/CD pipelines, and optimize performance and security for game development workflows. The role offers ownership within a small team and can be based in Oxford or Warwick, with relocation or remote options available.
Responsibilities
- Effectively deploy, manage and monitor cloud infrastructure in a LiveOps environment.
- Scope, design and implement cloud architecture.
- Implement, maintain and consolidate cloud testing and automation tools.
- Identify and deploy cybersecurity measures.
- Incident management and root cause analysis.
- Work with code and build teams to ensure a streamlined workflow.
Key Outcomes
- Maintain the highest SLA uptimes.
- Consolidate, improve and expand cloud infrastructure offering.
- Increase visibility of cloud estate and health metrics.
- Improve control and management of production infrastructure.
Requirements
- Senior level experience in DevOps.
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code in AWS/Azure.
- Strong experience with containerising applications and maintaining containerised infrastructure (ECS, Docker Swarm, Kubernetes, etc.).
- Familiarity with CI/CD systems (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
- Experience with version control systems (Perforce and Git).
- Knowledge of logging, monitoring and incident response technologies.
- Desirable: Experience with Pulumi and Microsoft PlayFab.
