Senior Commissioning Engineer

Location: London & UK-wide travel

Contract: Permanent, Full-time

Hybrid Working: Office & site-based with flexibility.

The Role

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Commissioning Engineer to lead the delivery of complex fire and security projects. You’ll be the technical authority on-site, commission and test systems to the highest standards, mentor junior engineers, and represent SecureWais confidently with clients and consultants.

What You’ll Do

• Commission and test fire/security systems across high-end projects.
• Ensure compliance with British Standards and UK safety regulations.
• Review and validate designs, drawings, and documentation.
• Lead inspections, testing, and handovers.
• Mentor and support junior engineers.
• Deliver client training on completed systems.

What We Need

• Valid CSCS or ECS card (or ability to obtain prior to start).
• Full UK driving licence.
• Eligibility to obtain BPSS and SC clearance.
• Manufacturer training certifications on key fire/security systems.
• Health & Safety qualifications (e.g. IOSH, NEBOSH).
