Senior Conflicts Analyst

We are currently seeking a Senior Conflicts Analyst to join our Risk & Compliance team on a full time and permanent basis. The role operates fully remotely with the option to work from one of our seven offices. This is a great opportunity to work alongside a highly supportive manager.
Day to Day
- Receive requests for conflict checks from across the firm.
- Liaise with fee-earners and secretaries to obtain the correct information for the check, including external sources such as Companies House.
- Run the conflict check using our software.
- Review the conflict report to identify potential conflicts and refer to the Onboarding Team Manager or MLRO, recommending an appropriate course of action.
- Communicate the agreed outcome to the fee-earner and secretary and implement any further actions.
- Answer queries regarding the status and progress of conflict checks.
- Assist with training and provide day‑to‑day supervision, mentoring and guidance to Onboarding team members processing conflict checks.
- Provide training to the wider firm on conflict related matters.
- Assist with drafting and updating conflict procedures, policies, guidance and workflows.
- Update the conflicts page on the firm intranet.
The Role Is Right For You
This position carries significant responsibility and requires accurate, careful review of client and onboarding checks.
You will ideally have two years of experience running conflict checks in a law firm, a strong understanding of the regulatory environment and the SRA Code of Conduct, and you will be able to apply that learning to the fee‑earning teams in our firm.
You will manage many different requests and work to demanding deadlines, requiring self‑motivation, drive, initiative and great organisational skills.
Meticulous attention to detail and accurate data inputting skills are essential.
You will be a first‑class supporter to our fee‑earner teams, an enthusiastic team player who enjoys helping others and works collaboratively with colleagues.
