Your future duties and responsibilities
In this role, you will be a trusted advisor to leading insurers, shaping and delivering technology-enabled business transformation. You’ll lead client workshops, design innovative solutions, and bring together CGI’s multidisciplinary teams to deliver outcomes that make a measurable impact. By guiding delivery teams and mentoring junior consultants, you’ll help strengthen CGI’s capability while driving real change for our clients.
You will play an active role in shaping propositions, supporting pre-sales activities, and influencing C-suite stakeholders with your insights and solutions. Working alongside our technology experts, you’ll be instrumental in aligning business needs with scalable, forward-looking solutions that transform the UK insurance landscape.
- Lead & Innovate: Run client sessions and workshops to shape strategic solutions.
- Develop & Deliver: Direct business consulting engagements and manage delivery teams to successful outcomes.
- Collaborate & Align: Partner with technology specialists to design scalable, pragmatic solutions.
- Drive Growth: Support pre-sales, RFP responses, and client proposals.
- Mentor & Support: Guide junior consultants and analysts, strengthening team capability.
- Analyse & Advise: Provide market insight on InsurTech, regulation, and digital transformation.
Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role
To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong foundation in consulting with a proven track record in the insurance sector. You should combine business insight with technology delivery expertise, alongside excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Several years’ consulting experience within a leading systems integrator or consultancy.
- Strong knowledge of the insurance sector (General Insurance and London Market).
- Proven ability to deliver business transformation and technology-enabled projects.
- Experience leading pre-sales activities, bids, and client presentations.
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders up to C-suite level.
- Demonstrated leadership in directing consulting teams.
- Strong understanding of insurance technology, agile delivery, and innovation.
Desirable
- Exposure to InsurTech and digital innovation in insurance.
- Professional certifications (e.g. ACII, Agile).
- Prior experience working with large insurers in a consulting capacity.
