Senior Consultant - Procurement & Value Creation (UK) - Logistics London, United Kingdom Permanent employee, Full-time Overview Join a consultancy that offers exciting projects and strong development opportunities. You will develop procurement consulting skills with a focus on logistics procurement, delivering procurement excellence projects across our services and leading cost improvement initiatives in direct and indirect categories within logistics and related supply chain spend. Responsibilities
Lead cost reduction and value creation initiatives across logistics spend Actively listen to clients and support their issues Develop relationships with logistics stakeholders at different levels as needed Manage your own work and deliverables in line with project objectives and budgets Take responsibility, demonstrate initiative, and produce high-quality outputs Communicate clearly with high professional standards Apply strong analytical ability to solve business problems and reach solid conclusions Document assumptions and ensure accuracy and robustness of work Challenge client information where needed and transfer skills to colleagues Provide project updates and reporting dashboards Contribute to business development and enhancement of methodologies
Profile & Qualifications
Experience from consulting projects in procurement value optimization or transformation within logistics or related subcategories Proven track record delivering procurement outcomes across the logistics category Strong analytical and commercial skills with attention to detail Project management experience Excellent communication and influencing skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Fluent English; another language is an advantage Desire to contribute to a growing procurement consultancy
Nice-to-have
MCIPS or an excellent degree Experience with procurement consulting in the UK or Europe
