Senior Consulting Engineer (Rapid7, SentinelOne, AWS) in Crawley, offering a salary of £60k - £80k. We are seeking an experienced cybersecurity professional to lead complex projects and make a tangible impact.

The role will be a mixture of office and remote-based work, with travel to client sites where needed. This is a client-facing, delivery-focused role suited for someone with deep technical expertise and a strategic mindset.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead Projects: Oversee end-to-end delivery of large-scale cyber resilience initiatives, ensuring technical excellence and alignment with client goals.
  • Design Secure Architectures: Shape robust, scalable, and secure solutions using industry best practices and advanced security frameworks.
  • Drive Incident Response: Manage and coordinate responses to security incidents, ensuring swift resolution and minimal disruption.
  • Engage Clients: Act as a trusted advisor, delivering tailored solutions and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Collaborate Across Disciplines: Work closely with infrastructure, networking, cloud (AWS), virtualisation, storage, and IT ops teams to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Lead Agile Delivery: Run Agile ceremonies, promote continuous improvement, and guide teams through effective sprint execution.
  • Mentor Others: Support junior consultants with technical development and Agile best practices.
  • Support Growth: Contribute to proposals, presentations, and service development efforts.
  • Share Knowledge: Develop and distribute best practices to strengthen the cyber resilience function.

What You'll Bring:

  • Proven experience in threat intelligence, risk management, incident response, compliance, and security architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with: SIEM, Rapid7, XDR, Firewalls, PAM, SSE/ZTNA, Cloud security, and Automation tools.
  • A track record of leading complex cybersecurity projects.
  • Strong client engagement and stakeholder management skills.
  • Practical knowledge of Agile methodologies and ceremonies.
  • Experience mentoring junior colleagues and fostering team growth.
  • Ability to work across disciplines including infrastructure, networking, cloud, and IT operations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Adaptability to evolving technologies and cross-functional environments.
