Senior Content Manager – UK Market

Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Leadership: Take overall responsibility for the UK content strategy on Amazon and other e‑commerce channels. Define KPIs, set quality standards, and drive initiatives that strengthen brand visibility and conversion.
  • Amazon Content Excellence: Oversee creation, optimisation, and continuous improvement of market‑specific and SEO‑relevant content (product titles, texts, and descriptions). Guide the creative use of images, videos, and storytelling elements to elevate brand presence on the UK marketplace.
  • SEO & Campaign Management: Lead advanced keyword research and implement cutting‑edge SEO tactics. Plan and manage comprehensive content marketing campaigns, aligning them with broader business and advertising strategies.
  • Team & Cross‑Market Coordination: Supervise and mentor UK writers, ensure smooth workflows, and foster knowledge exchange across all content markets. Provide constructive feedback and build scalable processes for content production.
  • Client & Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary contact for key UK clients, advise them strategically on content performance, deliver insights, and represent our content expertise in cross‑functional meetings with internal teams and external partners.

Qualifications

  • Language Expertise: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English at a native or near‑native level; additional European languages are a strong plus.
  • Extensive Experience: 4+ years of professional experience in journalism, editorial management, SEO, or content marketing—preferably within an agency or e‑commerce environment, including leadership or project‑management responsibilities.
  • Education & Skills: University degree in journalism, linguistics, media, business, or a comparable field. Strong analytical mindset and confidence with digital tools and data‑driven decision making.
  • Strategic Thinker & Mentor: Proven ability to translate complex goals into clear strategies, inspire team members, and ensure consistent content quality across markets.
  • E‑Commerce Passion: Deep understanding of how SEO, product discovery, and brand storytelling drive performance on Amazon.co.uk and other marketplaces; prior Amazon content experience is a major advantage.
