Location: Kingston upon Thames, United Kingdom. Senior Contracts Advisor will report to the Head of Contract Management and be involved in negotiating with external parties and managing contract activities, including analysis, drafting, and qualification. You will support internal tendering and project execution teams and coordinate with key corporate departments.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the business in contract negotiations and successful project delivery.
  • Contribute to the success of commercial proposals with risk distribution aligned to Company terms.
  • Support the completion of projects within time and budget; mitigate risks and maximize profits from project execution.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and business partner across the Company, in addition to being a functional expert.
  • Ensure Saipem’s standard contracting rules are applied to all contracts with customers and suppliers/subcontractors, considering risk levels.
  • Acquire a strong knowledge of Saipem’s global organization, services and assets.

What are we looking for?

Required

  • Proven experience in a similar role.
  • Law degree or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in professional English writing.
  • Strong legal expertise, including LOGIC, FIDIC, Incoterms, Norwegian Law (preferred), and familiarity with both common and civil law systems focusing on contract law and partnership agreements.
  • Good knowledge of Saipem’s core business areas such as EPC contracts, platform components, offshore plants and subsea field installation.
  • Meticulous in contract preparation and management, ensuring legal compliance.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to assess risks, make informed decisions, and align actions with business goals while adapting to market trends.
