NEW Job Opportunity! - Senior Contracts Advisor - Initial 12 Month Outside IR35 Contract

Our client has a requirement for a Senior Contracts Advisor to work on a contract basis in Kingston Upon Thames.

Rate: Negotiable depending on experience

IR35 Status: Outside IR35

Hybrid: 3 days in the office, 2 days remote

Purpose of the position:

As a Senior Contracts Advisor, you will negotiate with external parties, manage contract activities including analysis, drafting, and qualification. You will support internal teams in tendering and project execution and coordinate with key corporate departments to ensure alignment and efficiency, reporting directly to the Head of Contract Management.

• Contribute to commercial proposals, balancing risks and terms acceptable to the company
• Support project completion within time and budget, mitigating risks and maximizing profits
• Act as a trusted advisor and business partner across the company
• Ensure application of standard contracting rules to all contracts, considering risk levels
• Gain a strong understanding of our client's global organization, services, and assets

What are we looking for?

Required:

• Proven experience in a similar role
• Law degree or equivalent
• Proficiency in professional English writing
• Strong legal expertise, including LOGIC, FIDIC, Incoterms, Norwegian Law (preferred), and knowledge of both common and civil law systems focusing on contract law and partnership agreements
• Good knowledge of core business areas such as EPC contracts, platform components, offshore plants, and subsea fields installation
• Meticulous in contract preparation and management, ensuring legal compliance
• Strategic thinking with risk assessment and decision-making skills aligned with business goals
