The Opportunity

Due to ongoing growth, 360 Engineering currently has an opportunity for a Senior Control System Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. Don't be shy, if your not quite a Senior but have great experience and attitude we want to hear from you as well!

Joining an experienced team, you will be working closely with clients and staff to design and deliver a range of control system and telemetry projects, completing a mix of office-based and field-based work.

Your primary role will be working across industry leading technologies; designing, programming, testing, commissioning and supporting SCADA, PLC, RTU, HMI and Radio telemetry systems. This will include moderate amounts of domestic travel to attend client sites.

Responsibilities

  • Ethernet networking design and implementation;
  • Providing support and training to clients;
  • Assisting with the development of bids, proposals and quotes;
  • Performing maintenance and diagnostics on client systems;
  • Ensuring all work complies with WHS and Quality standards

About You

We are looking for someone with experience in telemetry and/or control systems in the Water/Wastewater sector with around ten or more years relevant experience. A relevant degree qualification is desired for this role, however, good industry experience without one would also be fine.

You will have a knack for customer service, being a naturally personable and down-to-earth individual who can communicate effectively on a technical level and work collaboratively with both clients and project staff.

Technologies and Brands

  • PLC: Rockwell, Schneider, Siemens or Omron
  • RTU: SCADAPack, Brodersen, Mox, Siemens, Kingfisher or Elpro
  • SCADA: GeoSCADA (ClearSCADA) and/or Plant SCADA (CitectSCADA)
  • HMI: Red Lion, PanelView, ProFace and Omron

You will be confident using Microsoft Office, and have a good understanding of networking and advanced computing concepts such as virtualisation.
