New Today

Overview

Are you a skilled Senior Data Business Analyst looking to make a significant impact within a leading health organisation? AXA Health is seeking a talented professional to join our Analytics Product Team on a 12-month FTC. You'll work across the organisation to capture and understand data requirements, supporting the development of innovative data products and solutions to meet increasing business demands. Operating within an agile environment, you'll be embedded within a dynamic squad alongside Product Leads, Data Modellers, Product Engineers, Visualisation Developers, and specialists in Data Quality, Governance, Metadata and Lineage, as well as Subject Matter Experts. At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers.

You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events. We're also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.

What you'll be doing

  • Meet with Business Leaders to understand their data needs, define problems, and explain how data solutions can help, assisting in the creation of new data products aligned with company goals.
  • Collect detailed information about data needs, including data types, sources, and quality requirements, and document current and future data sources to ensure accurate data models.
  • Prepare and review documents that prioritise data initiatives, get approval, and involve stakeholders to support decision-making and resource planning.
  • Check data within the platform to confirm assumptions, find gaps, and discover new data sources, ensuring data quality and accuracy.
  • Work daily with stakeholders and technical teams to design, build, test, and deploy data products, including user acceptance testing.
  • Ensure data products meet stakeholder needs, are properly tested, and follow security and privacy standards by working with internal governance and security teams.
  • Support and guide junior analysts, participate in data community groups, and help the lead in delivering initiatives.
  • Estimate costs, timelines, and resources for projects, prepare approval documents, and assist after launch to keep delivering value.
