We put data at the heart of every decision we make. You’ll be part of the Data & Analytics team whose job is to enable Entrust to access insights and advanced analysis, and to provide quality datasets our ML models rely on. In this role, as a Senior DataOps Engineer, you will be responsible for expanding our data platform and designing, implementing, and maintaining data tools for our 500+ internal users and our clients. Daily, you’ll collaborate with AI scientists, developers and analytics teams.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement new modules of our data platform, including the infrastructure and the data pipelines for data ingestion, processing, and storage
  • Collaborate with development and analytics teams to ensure data quality and availability
  • Provide tooling for the MLOps and AI teams to source quality datasets to train the ML models
  • Implement monitoring and collaborate with security teams to ensure data security
  • Contribute to defining data strategies and roadmaps for data infrastructure

Requirements

  • Extensive experience working in DataOps or data engineering
  • Experience with DataOps tools and technologies such as Apache Airflow, Apache Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes
  • Experience with analytical databases (Snowflake, BigQuery or Redshift) and knowledge of data storage formats such as Iceberg, Delta Lake
  • Ability to create and maintain data infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform
  • Fluent in at least one programming language (Python, Java, or Scala)
  • Advanced SQL knowledge and SQL optimisations
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana or Datadog
  • Knowledge of data security principles and compliance
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
