We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Lead to spearhead the data component of our global HR Transformation project.

The successful candidate will manage data strategy and execution across multiple countries, with a primary focus on implementing and optimizing Workday as the core HR solution. This role will require deep expertise in data migration, transformation, and integration, as well as strong leadership and project management skills.

You will collaborate closely with the Solution Lead, Integration Lead, Testing Lead and Technical leads for each functional area and location to manage data-related activities for the programme. You will manage a small team of individuals across Flutter and our partner PwC and have responsibility for ensuring the successful and timely extraction, transformation and delivery of data.

About the Role

We will also need you to drive forward our playbook which will include integrating tools to automate the Data Migration for future rollouts.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the senior-most data expert on the project, overseeing data-related tasks and ensuring alignment with the overall HR Transformation goals.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy document, in collaboration with project stakeholders, that outlines the approach for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
  • Provide regular updates and insights on data progress, risks, and mitigation plans to the Solution Lead

Requirements

  • A minimum of 8 years’ experience within similar roles and project delivery experience with one or more ERP implementations in HCM or Financials.
  • A flexible and a delivery-focused perspective with the ability to engage, inspire and motivate colleagues, even in challenging circumstances
  • Expertise in HR systems (Workday preferred) and their integrations with bolt-on technologies.
  • Superior attention to detail, organisation and analytical skills and able to manage conflicting priorities and deliver to tight deadlines
  • Have strong communication skills and able to collaborate, working well across multiple workstreams, teams and markets.
