Senior Data Engineer – Customer Lifecycle Engineering, CMR

Role Profile
As a Senior Data Engineer, you are responsible for developing and maintaining scalable data pipelines and building new API integrations to support continuous increases in data volume and complexity. You will collaborate with data and business teams to improve data models that feed business intelligence tools, increasing data accessibility and fostering data‑driven decision making across the organisation.
Technical Profile / Essential Skills
6 years of technical experience, including 4+ years of data migration using ETL tools.
Expertise in Informatica IICS, Matillion or equivalent ETL tool for end‑to‑end data mapping.
Proficient coding knowledge in Python and SQL.
Experience with Salesforce data extraction and integration.
Knowledge of object‑oriented design and data modelling (desirable).
Understanding of Salesforce concepts (desirable).
Experience providing technical solutions and supporting documentation.
Skills and Experience
Experience with Snowflake storage and database.
Experience with cloud‑based applications on AWS or Azure.
Understanding of SDLC and agile delivery methodology.
Data cleanup, manipulation and migration to/from Salesforce.com.
Strong communication skills in English, both oral and written.
Self‑directed, highly motivated with a proactive demeanor.
Customer and service focused with a determination to meet expectations.
Experience with JIRA and Confluence.
Education and Professional Skills
BE/MS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or STEM (desirable).
Solid English reading/writing capability required.
Good communication and articulation skills.
Curious about new technologies and tools, creative thinking and initiative.
Agile related certifications preferable.
Detailed Responsibilities
Proficient in data discovery, migration, quality analysis and end‑to‑end reconciliations using ETL/SQL (IICS / Matillion preferred).
Analyse data quality metrics of source systems.
Design and implement data migration strategies for large‑scale programs.
Develop and improve data governance and business data processes.
Collaborate with developers, architects and solution designers to translate business requirements.
Maintain relationships with business collaborators and impacted users.
Identify, recommend and implement process improvements on assigned projects.
Stay up to date with industry developments and technology innovations.
Adapt plans and strategies to manage risk around ambiguity.
Provide technical design insight and code reviews when required.
Manage workload, promote an inclusive culture and communicate complex information clearly.
Take initiative to develop knowledge in technology products and tools through learning, certifications and projects.
