Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a Band B Senior Dental Officer to join our Community Dental Service working either full time or part time.

The Community Dental Service provides dental treatment for children, adults and older people with additional needs who are unable to access general dental care.

Responsibilities

• The post holder will be responsible for the clinical treatment of paediatric and adult patients, including those with special needs.
• Experience in provision of dental care to children and adults, including the use of Relative Analgesia and General Anaesthesia.
• Work as part of a team in the East Locality of HDFT Community Dental Services.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Current registration with the General Dental Council (GDC) and NHS performer number.

Location and hours

The post may be based at Northway Dental Clinic (Scarborough), Whitby Hospital or Malton Hospital. The post holder will be planned to work out of one or all locations depending on hours. Flexible hours and/or job planning are available. Relocation expenses may be offered in line with HDFT policy.
