Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Hydraulic Design Engineer based in Gloucester, another in the Midlands and another in Exeter with some work from home acceptable. The Hydraulic Design Engineer will be responsible for designing Fluid Power systems, developing new ideas, and working closely with the sales and production teams. This role involves utilizing CAD software to create detailed technical drawings, managing projects from conception to completion, and ensuring all designs meet industry standards and regulations. The Design engineer will work alongside a dedicated technical team to produce state of the art system designs.

A good knowledge of PLC control and integration would also be a distinct advantage.

Qualifications

• Skills in Design Engineering and Product Design with ~Fluid Power
• Expertise in Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering
• Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD)
• Strong problem-solving abilities and project management skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Relevant experience in the fluid power industry is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
