Senior Design Manager – Hotel & Hospitality Projects 1 day ago Be among the first 25 applicants We are seeking an experienced Senior Design Manager to lead the delivery of high-quality hotel and hospitality developments, with a particular focus on the conversion of existing office buildings into premium 4-star and 4-star upper-upscale hotels. Key Responsibilities

Oversee the design process from concept through to completion, ensuring compliance with brand standards, statutory requirements, and project budgets. Lead coordination between architects, consultants, contractors, and client teams, ensuring timely delivery of design packages. Manage planning, heritage, and building regulation considerations for complex change-of-use projects, often in sensitive or listed buildings. Ensure guest experience, operational efficiency, and premium fit-out quality are embedded into all design decisions. Facilitate value engineering without compromising quality or brand identity. Set up, copy, scan, and store project documentation in physical and digital systems.

Requirements

Proven track record delivering high-quality hotel and hospitality projects, ideally including the conversion of office buildings into 4-star and 4-star upper-upscale hotels. Strong knowledge of RIBA stages, statutory approvals, and brand compliance processes. Experience in coordinating multidisciplinary design teams in complex, live environments. Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively. Detailed understanding of hotel operational requirements and guest experience drivers. Experience working with listed or heritage buildings. Knowledge of international hotel brand standards.Previous work with leading contractors, developers, or hotel operators.
