Due to continued growth, our client is expanding their knitwear division and has an exciting opportunity for a talented Menswear Knitwear Designer to join their dynamic team. Supplying to some of the UK's leading retailers, this role offers the chance to work on innovative, trend-led collections and make a real impact in a fast-paced, growing business.
Based in the vibrant heart of Manchester, this is a brilliant opportunity for a confident, self-motivated designer who enjoys taking ownership from initial concept through to customer meetings and presentations.

Main responsibilities
- Translate trends into innovative, commercial knitwear ranges
- Create seasonal collections tailored to individual customers
- Lead customer meetings and present collections with confidence
- Identify and drive forward new product ideas and emerging trends
- Manage communication and product development with overseas suppliers
- Work closely with buyers to ensure ranges meet customer expectations
Person Specification
- Previous experience inmenswear knitwear design (supplier background highly desirable)
- Strong eye for trends, with in-depth knowledge of yarns, gauges, and garment construction
- Proficient in CAD and Adobe Illustrator
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to build strong buyer relationships
- A collaborative team player with the confidence to work independently
- Passionate, proactive, and eager to contribute to a growing division
- £37000 - £38000 per annum + Hybrid working
- £47000 - £50000 per annum + Hybrid working
