Our client is seeking a DevOps Engineer to take ownership of a broad, stimulating technical landscape that blends infrastructure automation, monitoring, deployment strategy, and CI/CD tooling.
You will be the first dedicated DevOps professional in the team, stepping into a high-impact role previously shared between software engineers and IT specialists. This is your opportunity to shape foundational systems that support ambitious engineering and scientific innovation.

The Stack You’ll Work With

- Automation: Ansible (preferred), Infrastructure-as-Code practices
- CI/CD: GitHub Actions, local custom runners for hardware-based testing
- Environments: Ubuntu Linux, Windows, WSL, on-prem and hybrid systems
About You
You're someone who enjoys taking ownership of infrastructure and enabling great engineering through robust systems.
You’ll bring:
- 5+ years in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or a similar role
- Proven experience with Linux system administration and scripting
- Comfort working across CI/CD pipelines, containerised environments, and monitoring tools
- A security-first mindset with best practices built into your workflow
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Bonus experience (not required):
- Familiarity with hardware-based testing environments
- Experience in environments with custom runners or complex deployment patterns
- Exposure to multi-OS development environments (Windows, Linux, WSL)
