Overview

Senior DevOps Engineer with Dynatrace & Grafana (Lead I - DevOps Engineering). Leicester based - hybrid. 6 months project. ASAP start. This role requires deep technical expertise across modern DevOps tools and practices, with a particular focus on Azure cloud platforms and observability solutions. As a senior contributor, you will design, build, and maintain enterprise-grade infrastructure, while ensuring reliability, performance, and scalability of our platforms. You will be the subject matter expert for our Azure and automation ecosystem, driving improvements and setting best practice standards across the business.

Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and manage Azure infrastructure to support critical business applications
• Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
• Deploy and manage containerised workloads with Kubernetes
• Implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform for consistency and scalability
• Configure and maintain Nginx for application delivery, reverse proxying, and load balancing
• Ensure performance and reliability through advanced monitoring and observability using Dynatrace and Grafana
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate DevOps practices and improve delivery efficiency

What You Will Bring

• Proven track record in a senior DevOps or platform engineering role
• Strong technical expertise in Azure DevOps and Azure infrastructure
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, and Nginx
• Deep understanding of observability and monitoring solutions, ideally with Dynatrace and Grafana
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems
• Strong communicator who can influence, mentor, and collaborate across teams
